Opening night was a lot of fun with Milwaukee Jazz Fusion playing Latin for us, even some dancing. Thank you to everyone who made it along - it was a very memorable night.

Sneak Preview of Flotsam Exhibition

Carol Kerr's Flotsam is a solo exhibition documenting a year of walking in Lion’s Den Nature Preserve. The exhibition includes sculptural pieces (a selection above) and paintings; several abstracts that explore moving to Wisconsin from Australia and photo-realist oils on board of Lake Michigan.

Solo Exhibition Opening Night - May 12th at 6pm at the Jazz Gallery

Flotsam is an exhibition of paintings, sculpture and objects documenting a year of walking in Lion’s Den Nature Preserve and discovering Wisconsin.

Working with Western

Wester Premium is a Wisconsin based appliance manufacturer - manufacturing for larger name brands as well as a small number of their own brand luxury appliances. The branding of this new initiative reflects luxury values and mindful consideration of the environment. This is achieved with the use of strong natural imagery, white space and restrained typography. Additional material is being developed to encourage customers to use and share their product guides.

Exhibition for May 2012

Coming up in May is my solo exhibition at the Jazz Gallery - Centre Street Riverwest. The work is based on Lion's Den Gorge Nature preserve and includes paintings, a book (above) sculptural pieces (above above) and some small scale installations.
